New Security Measures in Place at Walt Disney World

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that metal detectors have been installed at Walt Disney World Theme Parks today. Guests will be selected at random to pass through the detectors upon entry. Metal detectors have been in place at many theme parks across the country as well as at stadiums and sports areas. Disney has also discontinued the sale of toy guns at it's theme parks today.

Disney released a statement "We continually review our comprehensive approach to security and are implementing additional security measures, as appropriate," Disney said in a statement.
