DinoLand U.S.A. Closures Begin Jan. 13, 2025
Work on Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is set to begin in January 2025. This means the last day to ride TriceraTop Spin will be January 12, 205.

Fossil Fun Games and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures will also close on January 12, 2025
DINOSAUR, the Boneyard, Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites will remain open.
In other news, Disney provided an update on “The Little Mermaid A Musical Adventure” coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As we continue to look forward to “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure," at Disney’s Hollywood Studios we are taking the next steps and filing permits for an all-new marquee. Work on the exterior of the building will begin soon, in preparation for the premiere of this fully reimagined show in summer 2025. We look forward to sharing more details on this exciting new experience soon.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will go down for an extended closure on January 6, 2025. The attraction will reopen with a little bit of new magic in 2026. Disney has not shared any further details.
