Is it safe to go on a cruise?
Since August 550,000 people have taken a cruise. No COVID outbreaks have been reported. Here’s why…
Is cruising safe?
Cruise ships are mandated to have at least a 95% vaccination rate among passengers and crew. 100% of those around you onboard have tested negative within the past 3 days.
Both Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Line, require all passengers age 12+ to be fully vaccinated.
I can’t think of another industry that can say that. Not even my grocery store!
Here are few facts that were recently shared with me from Royal Caribbean:
Since August of 2021, Royal Caribbean had 500,000 guests sail on its ships. And by November, over 1 million people will have taken a cruise.
There have only been 141 cases oc COVID reported onboard. Each of these cases were handled quickly and according to procedure, which obviously works.
There have been no large outbreaks on any of Royal Caribbean’s ships to date.
Is Florida Safe?
As vaccinations increase, the numbers of new cases are rapidly plummeting.
For example, on September 1, Florida’s 7-day average of new cases was 20,000 per day.
Today, September 29, the 7-day average of new cases is 5,400.
There are 22 million residents who live in Florida.
