The Blue Route Returns to Magic Kingdom Area Hotels Walt Disney World
A look at the water taxi routes that serve the Magic Kingdom Area Resorts, including the return of the Blue Route to Bay Lake.
Boat transportation between Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will return on October 1st, 2023.
Boats operating between these resorts will fly a blue flag to help identify them from boats going to other destinations like the Magic Kingdom.
Blue Route will allow guests to visit nearby resort hotels for dinner, including the popular Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
Blue Route will start at 3 pm daily.
Did you know there are several water routes servicing the Magic Kingdom Area hotels? Boats fly a solid color flag that helps guests know where the boat will take them. There is a corresponding sign on the boat dock so you don’t have to remember.
They all depart Magic Kingdom from the same general area but watch the signs so you know which boat dock to use.
