Sneak Peek at the Newly Rethemed Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
New Under the Sea rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort replace pirate rooms. Here’s a sneak peek.
Today I have a sneak peek at the new “under the sea” themed rooms, possibly inspired by “The Little Mermaid” at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at Walt Disney World.
“Under the Sea” Themed Room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Walt Disney world
Disney World leadership previously shared that the pirate-themed rooms in the Trinidad section of the resort would be refurbished and that subtle references to various Disney “under the sea” moments would be included in the new decor.
Disney posted photos of the new rooms on a Cast Member social media channel today.
The newly themed rooms at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort have:
laminate flooring
a tropical color pallet
queen size pull down (murphy) bed
traditional queen size bed
child-size pull-down bed (suitable for most children up to age 9)
These rooms are not yet available to book. More on that soon. As of right now, it appears that at least some, if not all, of these rooms, will sleep 5 guests.
The former pirate rooms had two double size beds and had a capacity of 4 guests per room.

Castaway Club Introduces a New Membership Tier
The anniversary of Disney Cruise Line also heralds the unveiling of a brand-new membership tier for Castaway Club, which recognizes returning Disney Cruise Line guests with exclusive rewards and perks.
Honoring 25 years of Disney magic at sea, members will now earn the distinction of Pearl status after 25 Disney Cruise Line vacations.
Pearl members will unlock new at-home and onboard benefits, which will be announced in early 2023.
Silver Anniversary at Sea Voyages on Disney Cruise Line
Cruises featuring the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” celebration will sail to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Europe, and Alaska during the summer of 2023.
Departing from Miami May 24 to Sept. 4, the Disney Magic will visit destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean, including Castaway Cay.
The Disney Wonder will depart on Alaskan voyages from Vancouver, Canada May 15 to Sept. 11 with stops in Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and more.
From May 7 to Sept. 17, the Disney Dream will sail transatlantic and European itineraries, including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Greek Isles.
The Disney Fantasy will set sail from Port Canaveral, Florida May 6 to Sept. 2 to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, each with a day at Castaway Cay.
Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, will depart on sailings to Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay May 1 to Sept. 8 from Port Canaveral.

Ticket prices will increase for Disney World to its four parks next month — with the cost of entering the Magic Kingdom expected to nearly double for the holidays.

Currently, the lowest price for a one-day ticket to any of Disney World’s Orlando theme parks is $109.
With the increase, Magic Kingdom prices will start at $124 and increase to $189 depending on the date and demand for the parks.
The tickets will cost closer to the $189 price point specifically during the week of Christmas to New Year’s. However, more than 99% of its one-day, one-park tickets will be under $189.
The price to enter Epcot will go up as well, new prices range from $114 to $179, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios will cost $124 to $179. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be the only park to keep its current price range at $109 to $159.
Multi-Day Tickets
It’s important to highlight that the above prices refer to single-day tickets only. If you purchase a 5-Day ticket, you’re not spending $189 per day.
When you add multiple days to your theme park pass, the per-day ticket price decreases significantly
Park Hopper Price Increase
On Dec. 8, Disney World will update pricing on select add-on options, including the Park Hopper Option and Park Hopper Plus Option.

What is the Royal Caribbean Air2Sea flight program?
The Royal Caribbean Air2Sea program is a seamless, worry-free way to purchase flights in conjunction with your cruise reservation. Book airfare through our Air2Sea program and should an issue arise, Royal Caribbean’s Emergency Travel Team will work with its airline partners to do everything possible to get you to your cruise.
Can I get a one-way flight with Air2Sea?
Yes, with Air2Sea you have the option to select the air itinerary that best meets your travel needs.
Can I reserve my Air2Sea seat assignments through Royal Caribbean?
Yes, feel free to reach out to one of Royal Caribbean’s professional air reservation agents who will be happy to assist you with selecting a free seat option. In situation where, paid seat options are available you will need to work with the carrier directly for your selection.
What happens with the flight booked through Air2Sea if I need to cancel my cruise?
If you are holding a refundable (with fee) flight reservation and need to cancel, you can do so at any time. You will be assessed $200 (plus the Air2Sea fee) as a cancellation penalty per guest; all other air money will be refunded.
If I select an Air2Sea Book Now, Pay Later fare, when will payment be due?
The cost of airfare will be added onto the cruise amount and payment will follow cruise final payment guidelines.
Do I pay any additional fees for using Air2Sea?
Yes, there is a nominal service fee to use Air2Sea. Royal Caribbean International charges a service fee of $15 per person for travel within North America, and Canada, and $25 per person for International destinations.
